My fellow soap makers... as promised, I am finally releasing my soap stencil designs that I have been using in my YouTube Videos to create my soaps.
After testing various materials, I have finally settled on one that is durable and easy to wipe clean!
These sets fit a standard 3" wide loaf mold, such as the Brambleberry 5 lb loaf mold or Nurture Soap 4.5 lb basic loaf mold. If you are looking for other dimensions, please send us a message before placing an order and we will respond as soon as we can and see if we can arrange for a custom fit. Thank you.
These are expected to ship out in approximately 2 weeks. The listing will be updated soon with photos of the actual stencil set, but for now, I am just keeping the photo of the soap that was made with each set.
This listing is for one (1) stencil that make my Dancing with Fire design! You may use the same colorants as I did, or change them up to make the design more of your own! You will need to make dividers for your mold in order to use this technique. I recommend cutting them slightly bigger then your inner mold dimensions so that they can fit very tightly and you can avoid leaks. You can cut out pieces of cardboard and cover these in plastic wrap and multiple layers of tape, or cut them out of a stiff plastic instead. I'd also recommend making a tab on the top so that you can lift them out more easily later. I didn't think this through and really struggled to pull them out with tweezers once my mold was full to the brim. I spaced mine out at every inch, but making them even closer would give you a sharper image. You can pour any way you like, I chose to pour an ombre in every other section, but you can pour just solid colors as well. And be sure to watch my YouTube video here to see how this works! https://youtu.be/PFUej7wgQL8
They are very FRAGILE due to the nature of how thin the design is, so please take care when handling them in order to avoid dropping or snapping them. These need to be used when the batter is still fluid, NOT SOLID (unlike my other stencil scraping tools).
Please note that you must have a good understanding of cold process soap making and lye safety procedures and precautions before attempting to make any of these! There are many factors that can affect your soap design including but not limited to the recipe used, the fragrance, colorants, trace, temperatures, etc, and your individual results may vary from mine due to these variables.
Thank you for your support!
